Lesson 1:

Identify countries on a map involved in World War II. Role play demonstrating the countries who were friends or alliances.
Introduce project or essay children can do in groups or individually.
Discuss and create weapons used in World War II.
Lesson 2:
Introduce key moments in the war. Encourage children to work in groups, researching these key moments and presenting their findings to the class.
Explore the life of a child during the war.
The factors that affect a child's experience in World War II (Gender, age, wealthy/poor, where you live).
The Life of the Jewish people during World War II.
Children discussing and making lists of 3-5 items they would bring if they had to go into hiding.
Adolf Hitler as a leader - his characteristics and skills.
Lesson 3:
The role of Propaganda in World War II.
Holocaust and Concentration Camps.
